DAY 72 IN WFN  – SKITTLE

Move, Learn, Play and Grow”

Little Skittle’s morning is not complete without a body movement activity. They started their day with a dance exercise, moved and swayed rhythmically to the music “Move and Freeze”. This activity optimized their early brain and motor development .Young children can benefit from varied movement activities which may involve stitching, bending, twisting as well as dancing and playing.

“Keep The Children Engaged”

Preschoolers are often busy little people who rarely stay in one place for more than a few minutes and seem to have an especially difficult time engaging in activities. At White Fields nursery, children are provided with opportunities to learn and enjoy as well.

Before the day ended, the jolly little children used play dough in creating a friendship flower. Using play dough with young children is beneficial in so many ways. It can and probably will make a mess on the table and floor but learning benefits of playing with it is limitless. Their creative little hands worked artistically and appreciated the beauty of their craft works.

As a culminating activity, children did some coloring activity. Coloring helps children develop good finger grip. It provides an opportunity to practice holding a pencil the correct way and aids in developing those fine motor muscles in their hands, fingers, and wrist. Identifying pictures and words which start with letter “t” was also integrated in this activity.

It was an amazing week 1 for everyone!
