Teaching kids to actually count numbers not just recite them will better prepare them for success in math once they start school When they’re counting, they’re performing a more cognitive activity in which they’re associating a one-to-one correspondence with the object and the number to represent a quantity. Kids were presented with a dice and some numbers placed at random on the floor. When they throw the dice, they count and identify the number.

Kids ended the day with improving on their phonic skills as they were to encircle letter c out of a group of other letters.
