FUN…FUN… PLAY and JUMP!
Children need to be exposed to varied free play and games to boost their socialization and gross motor skills are they grow. Today, children in the Seattle and Amethyst class jointly had fun during the circle time with a review of different shapes. Soon after, they had psychomotor activities as they jump on the printed numbers 1 to 6 while counting aloud. Amazingly, kids had already mastered counting from number 1 through 6. Everyone had a happy face as each one received cheers and applause from their classmates. Color recognition was also given focus today as they were asked to classify colors. Colored cotton balls and disposable plastic cups were used as a sensory bin for color identification and classification activity. It was a challenging sensory motor skill that brought them excitement and lots of fun.
