Counting with one-to-one correspondence is an important preschool math skill. This simple activity can be turned into a play-anywhere game. Sorting objects by size, color, shape, or playing with toys while counting can be full of learning and fun. Today, Polly kids did the counting while shooting the colored balls on the rolled chart paper.

For fine motor skills development, they were asked to make their own click beetle craft. Using a green chart paper we made a beetle. They have to paste it on a wooden clothespin. The teacher guided them to do so. Then, they were all eager to test whether it will really jump up. So using their finger they press on the wooden clothespin and to their surprise the paper made beetle jumped by a click. A cute little craft but made the kids happy.
